Call for 2nd SSPH+ ScienceFlashTalk

The SSPH+ ScienceFlashTalk promotes exciting and engaging public health sciences speed-talks. Eligible PhD students will receive a speed-talk training and coaching with communication experts as well as compete in one of three different SSPH+ ScienceFlashTalk events. The facilitators are Dr. Alexis Puhan (MD), the founder of skillbuild inc. based in Switzerland, specialized in coaching, storylining and facilitating since 2002 and Kathrin Puhan-Henz, the founder of you advance Ltd., Zurich, Switzerland. She has a master's degree in history, complemented with an MBA at St. Gallen University (Switzerland) and is also a qualified MBTI coach.

SSPH+ Internship Program – Linking Science with Practice

SSPH+ is launching an Internship Program (IP) which places SSPH+ PhD students in non-academic institutions for several months to provide insight into possible career paths beyond the academic tracks. Organizations with public health related fields, such as governmental and nongovernmental organizations, health insurers, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, publishers, associations or foundations, have already signed an agreement to place interns. Geneva Health Forum, 10-12 April 2018 - The Forum of Innovative Practices in Global Health

Geneva, 10-12 April 2018

The Geneva Health Forum (GHF), a biennial event launched in 2006 and held in the Spring, combines plenary and parallel sessions attended by hundreds of participants, with a large international exhibition area. The GHF was established to link policy and practice, and addresses health issues through an integrative approach. It is known as the largest event in Europe gathering such a distinguished audience, composed of academic leaders, practitioners, policy makers, diplomats, representatives of donor agencies and healthcare providers.
